Incredibly sweet novella - with a bonus glance into Echo and Noah's camping trip. (I'll admit it, I gave a little squee.)Lila wasn't my all time favorite secondary character from Pushing the Limits, but I did like her. And I like her even more after reading her story. What I really loved was how their story unfolded, especially how their friendship started. Through letters. It reminded me of the early days of my marriage - when my husband deployed on ships for the Navy and our only communication for 6 months was via letters. Letters we'd have to number because they'd always arrive at once. I think the part I really loved was when Lincoln showed up on her doorstep with her favorite roses...and she didn't know who it was at first. It was a touching indication of how she'd fallen in love with the boy, not the face.Lovely read, and a good quick fix while I wait for Dare You To.
