Bleh. I literally skimmed the last 30% of this one and only because I read the synopsis of the second book and wanted to find out what the hell Luke did to go to jail. If not for that, I would have tossed this one onto the DNF pile much earlier. (And even now that I know, it's not enough to make me pick up the second book.)It read more like an ABC Family show - lots of mini-cliffhangers, back and forth "does he like me or doesn't he" angst, mini-relationship problems, etc.Maybe it just wasn't for me, but I was bored very early on and kept thinking of a dozen other things to do instead of read.
